Design Differently
If you’ve never worked with a designer before (or even if you have) the whole process of a renovation or new build can seem quite daunting. You might go into your project thinking that you can DIY the heck out of things like an HGTV design star or get it done by scouring pinterest and the internet- and maybe you can! To you, we wish you all best! For the rest of you? Let’s design differently!
Refresh Design exists for those of you who would rather not take on another full time job in order to create an amazing home- for those of you who’s life is already full with family, pets, friends and career goals and you just want a refreshed home base that’s beautiful, functional and DONE already!
We do design differently at RD by combining clear + efficient processes with creative design solutions, and we have a whole lot of fun along the way!

Refresh Design was founded in 2005 with the vision of combining elevated design and practical solutions without pretentiousness, delivered in an organized way– creating a refreshing approach to the design process.
Our reputation for being exceptionally organized allows us to offer you an enjoyable- dare we say FUN- experience throughout the design process as we work together to create your dream home.
The Process
If you’ve gotten this far, you might be wondering- what exactly IS your process? Well, we’re so glad you asked! Three simple steps and you’ll be on your way to your dream home:
- Discovery Call: This is a free call with Amy to ask your questions, tell her about your project and see how we can help!
- Design Power Session Consultation (also known as a DPS): The next step in the process, the DPS consult is a working idea session with deliverables and a chance for Amy + the RD team to see your project, connect with you on the design vision + start overcoming design obstacles. We offer these both in person and online via zoom!
- Design Packages: After your DPS, we’ll suggest a design package that fits your needs and budget! We currently have four packages available to serve you, with online options available as well as in person services.
